Who qualifies for Housing Authority apartments?

Applicants for elderly projects must be 62 years of age or older or qualify as an individual with a disability.

Family housing is available for those that income qualify and are approved.

Eligible applicants are placed on the waiting list after their completed application has been approved.

Are apartments available?

Availability changes throughout the year.

Are apartments furnished?

Every apartment includes:

✔ Stove

✔ Refrigerator

✔ Carpet

✔ Window drapes/ blinds

Is laundry available?

Each apartment complex offers a reasonably priced coin-operated laundry facility for residents.

What utilities are included?

Included with rent:

  • ✔ Heat

  • ✔ Hot Water

  • ✔ Sewer

  • ✔ Garbage Collection

We do have a utility allowance that is subtracted from the monthly rent.

Are pets allowed?

Yes.

One pet is permitted per apartment.

A refundable pet deposit is required.

Is there a security deposit?
HUD Apartments:

  • ✔ Security Deposit equals your Total Tenant Payment.
Rural Development Apartments:

  • ✔ Fixed security deposit.

What are the income limits?

For HUD Subsidized apartments

The maximum income limit for one person occupancy is $34,200 and for two person occupancy is $39,050.

For Rural Development apartments

The maximum income limit for one person occupancy is $39,650, two person occupancy is $44,550 and for three person occupancy is $49,400.
